1.   15-Bedded Drug De-addiction Cum Rehabilitation Centre (under Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA))

•  15 Bedded Drug De – Addiction cum Rehabilitation Centre under IRCA is running with the support of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India.

• The objective of the scheme is to provide preventive and rehabilitate services for the Drug Addicts, Alcoholics, Bhang, Ganja, Brown Sugar, IDU’s, other substance abusers in Tirupati and covering all neighbouring mandals in chittoor district of A.P.  As per the needs assessment the drug abusers issues, problems, available services, require services, the strategy to work and expected outcome results are identified & planned.

• Organised Awareness, Sensitisation, Education Camps among the drug addicts / stakeholders in the target area by using all IEC materials.  Conducted regular outreach, identified the drug addicts provided counseling in field level and referred to the centre for OP and admission. As per the issue, problem the drug Addicts were admitted, prepared  case study, provided counseling, Treatment, therapy and other support services as per the prescribed minimum standard project guidelines.

• The Qualified, Trained, Experienced and motivated staff are delivering the services as  per the need of the beneficiary , project objective and rehabilitative’s all the inmates.  Establish the good network & linkages with all the stakeholders for effective delivery of services.  In 2018-19 around 450 addicts as inmates got benefit the services.  The project services are very usefull to their physical, Social, Psychological, Economical, Health, Legal, Vocational & Occupational rehabilitation.  We are planning to expand the services to reach the unreached.

2. HIV/AIDS  FSW TI  Prevention Project TIRUPATI & CHITTOOR

Started in 2004 and providing outreach services which include information, Education and Communication (IEC), Behavioural Change Communications (BCC), Condom promotion (CP), Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) Clinical services, Networking & Linkages, Advocacy, capacity building, Community Based Organisation (CBO)  Management and referral to ICTC, ART, DOT, CCC services covering High Risk Population Female Sex workers (FSW),in Tirupati & Chittoor (9 Mandals), Andhra Pradesh, India.  Around 5400 High Risk, Vulnerable FSW, are being covered.  The Objective of the FSW TI & Core Composite Project is to reduce (Half & Reverse) HIV/AIDS among High Risk through Targeted Interventions.  The Project is being managed by the qualified, trained, experienced outreach, clinical & administrative staff.  India HIV/AIDS Alliance is providing Technical & Financial support.

The NGO is initiating all the processes further to strengthen & sustain the services.  Also striving for best practice and replicable to other parts to reduce the HIV incidents.
